First Knit Sweater
Want to knit your first garment but feel overwhelmed? We'll take you on a step-by-step journey of your first sweater from swatch to block! We will be knitting the Lento by Jonna Helin and will guide you through the pattern, starting with a 1 on 1 shopping & yarn selection to help you pick the perfect pair for your garment goals.
For this class, you must know how to cast on, bind off, knit and purl. Meant for adventurous beginners and up. Sign up here!
CLASS DATES: 8/15, 8/29, 9/12, 9/26 at 2pm
FIRST: Purchase your pattern here. You must have enough yarn to complete your sweater based on the sizes below:

Approx. 732 (833, 887, 950, 1016) (1111, 1211, 1270, 1356) yds / 670 (762, 811, 869, 929) (1016, 1107, 1162, 1240) m of lace weight yarn.
Needles: US 6 / 4 mm circular needles for ribbing, US 10 / 6 mm circular needles. An extra circular needle for the provisional cast-on for the neckline.
Notions: 5 stitch markers, tapestry needle, scrap yarn.

Colorwork Knitting Workshop: Building Confidence with Color
Ready to add color and creativity to your knitting? This hands-on workshop is designed for knitters who want to explore colorwork techniques in a clear, supportive, and approachable way.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of stranded colorwork, including how to read colorwork charts, manage two colors at once, maintain even tension, and prevent common issues like puckering and long floats. We’ll also cover yarn selection, including color contrast.
This class is ideal for adventurous beginners and intermediate knitters who are comfortable knitting and purling and ready to take their skills to the next level.
Skills covered:
Reading and following colorwork charts
Managing floats and yarn dominance
Maintaining consistent tension
Choosing effective color combinations
Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills (knit and purl)
Materials: Students should bring US 8 needles and two contrasting yarn colors.

Knitting S.O.S. is a hands-on troubleshooting class designed to empower you to truly read your knitting. You'll learn how to identify common knitting mistakes, understand how and why they happen, and — most importantly — how to fix them with confidence. No more frogging an entire project when one stitch goes sideways.
By the end of class, you'll walk away with the skills and knowledge to catch problems early, correct them efficiently, and feel genuinely in control of your craft.
Recommended for Advanced Beginner/Intermediate.

Join Emily as she walks you through some basic embroidery stitches and learn how to use those techniques to embroider and embellish items in your wardrobe! Heel Yeah! Mastering the Fish Lips Kiss Heel
Take a deep dive into the Fish Lips Kiss Heel in this intermediate sock clinic. We’ll focus on the construction of the FLK short row heel and review how toes, cuffs, heels, and gauge contribute to overall fit and structure. By the end, you’ll have a stronger understanding of the pattern and the skills to execute great fitting socks with confidence.

Breed Sampler
Fine wool, medium, down, long, primitive - these words are thrown around but what do they mean? With so many breeds of sheep available to us and new ones popping up every day, how do you choose the right one?
We’ll explore spinning wool from these umbrella terms as well as their characteristics and common uses to help you make more informed decisions for your next project. We'll discuss facets like luster, crimp and micron count and do some demonstrations of how to begin tackling these different fibers.
This class comes with a curated fiber sample for experimentation, further study and play.
